These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Subhive (the “Service”) at subhive.in. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The service
Subhive helps you track your subscriptions in one place: you can record what you pay, in any currency, see your normalized monthly spend, view upcoming renewals on a calendar, and receive reminders before a renewal. You can optionally connect a mailbox so Subhive can detect subscription receipts and suggest subscriptions for you to approve.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. We use passwordless sign-in: a secure link sent to your email, or your Google account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Connecting a mailbox
Connecting a mailbox is optional. If you choose to connect Google/Gmail, you authorize Subhive to access your mailbox on a read-only basis solely to detect subscription receipts, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not store the contents of your emails. You can disconnect a mailbox at any time from Settings, which revokes our ongoing access and stops future scans.
Accuracy and your responsibilities
Subhive is a tracking and organization tool. The subscription data you enter is your responsibility, and automatically detected suggestions are provided on a best-effort basis—they may be incomplete, mistimed, or inaccurate. You should verify amounts, renewal dates, and other details before relying on them. Reminders are a convenience and may be delayed or not delivered; you remain responsible for managing your own subscriptions and cancellations.
Not financial advice
The Service, including any totals, conversions, or insights, is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Currency conversions rely on third-party exchange-rate data and are estimates.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt or probe the Service’s security;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service except as permitted by law;
- interfere with or place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties such as Google (sign-in and the Gmail API), our email delivery provider, and our hosting and database providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms. Subhive is not responsible for the merchants whose subscriptions you track or for any charges they make to you.
Availability and changes to the service
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Some features may be offered as previews and may change or be removed. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Subhive and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or savings, arising out of or related to your use of the Service—including any missed renewal, charge, or cancellation.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing support@subhive.in. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
